Hotel Lovech

Size of the room

Location is perfect near covered bridge and Vasil Levski museum. Attraction's at a walking distance. Bars and restaurants very near. Clean rooms . Overall good value for the money

The room's are small without balcony , at least our 2 booked. The hotel's public areas are in a urgent need of refurbish, elevator's cranky with some buttons/lamps mising , from 3 elevators only one working, the reception area and restaurant also is like frozen from some old time and not in a good way,

The only good think is the position.

I'll start with the parking lot. I arrived at 1 am and although I had announced, I could not find a parking space in front of the hotel. Unfortunately, I woke up the lady at the reception. The hotel seems like a reminder of the communist times. Extremely large and difficult to maintain. The room smelled old and smokey, the window could not be closed and there were local citizens who made noise until 3am. extremely small room with absolutely everything. The refrigerator with rust and dirt, the bed with yellow sheets, the pillow torn, the mattress bleached and full of hair. In addition, when I lifted the blanket, I think there were insects (flatworms?), anyway, it had not been washed for a long time. A gentleman walked in on us without knocking on the door. Extremely poor breakfast, bad coffee, broken toaster (doesn't work). In the hallway on the 3rd floor, storage, food crumbs. After an almost sleepless night, we decided we couldn't stay there. We asked for the invoice from the company, we were told that it is not possible and we sent an invoice with our name (although the card we paid with is at the association). I did not discover the pool in the pictures. Anyway, what is in the pictures, is not in reality!I asked for a refund for a night I didn't stay and unfortunately the answer was negative. Regretfully AVOID this place!
