Olive Villas Beach Hotel

Nice place on the seaside. Very pleasant and responsive staff. It has its own beach area and you can book umbrellas/sun-beds for free as a guest. A small swimming pool. Rooms are nicely decorated and modern (with some issues, see below). You have to take a lot of steep stairs to get down to the beach (and back up), but it’s a nice exercise. Free EV chargers (2 pcs) at the free parking, if you have an electric vehicle.

Interior space design needs improvement - for example, the desk is positioned in front of the TV, so if you sit to work, you’ll block the TV for other people (and yes, there is a second TV in the bedroom, but that’s not an excuse for bad interior design). No elevators (i.e. not suitable for Americans). They utilised every centimetre of the limited plot they had which makes it feel a bit crammed.

Location, free access to the beach and private parking. Staff friendly and except the ladies doing room service they all spoke good english. The view was great, restaurant very cosy.

Breakfast basic, the room service was done only upon request… but anyway the ladies were nice and helpful

Perfekt für den Strandurlaub liegt das Hotel direkt an einem flachen Sandstrand. Der absolute Luxus ist der Service am Strand: einfach klingeln und Essen/Drinks/ Eis werden direkt zum Liegestuhl gebracht. Ein Sonnenschirm ist inklusive, sollte aber rechtzeitig (morgens) bei der Beach Managerin reserviert werden, da der Schirm sonst anderweitig vergeben wird. V. a. am Wochenende u Feiertage (15.8) kann es sehr voll werden, da auch auswärtige Gäste den Strandservice buchen können. Am Strand wird durchgehend laute Popmusik gespielt. Wir fanden es etwas zu laut und fühlten uns an einen Platz weiter weg von der Musikanlage wohler. Das Restaurant hat sehr gutes Essen zu etwas höheren Preisen. Das Frühstück ist prima und hat eine große Auswahl. Das Hotel liegt am Hang mit vielen Innen- u Aussentreppen ohne Aufzug. Die Zimmer sind groß mit Terasse/Balkon und schöner Aussicht.

Leider müffelt in den unteren Stockwerken (bei unserer Gruppe in 4 von 4 Zimmer) der Abfluss im Bad stark. Das Bad selbst ist sauber! In den oberen Stockwerken gab es dieses Problem nicht.

Very nice hotel, location is very good. Very clean with friendly staff.

I would recommend to improve the quality of the breakfast.

It was nearly 1700 BGN for two nights there, which is too much.
