Big room. Short walk to Selong Belanak beach.

Bad right from the start. Staff weren't expecting me when I arrived. I had to show them my booking which they took pictures of. Room is tired smelt mouldy. There was a plant growing out from behind the tiles in the bathroom. No information about breakfast time and where to have it. I was told there was no wi-fi, eventhough there is a wi-fi network there. Got the wi-fi password after I asked about it again on the second day. There are simple housekeeping things that could be done - Clean the hand basin and mirror - you can see by looking at them they need to be cleaned. Fill up the soap and shampoo dispensers, which were empty. Remove the plant growing out from behind the tiles in the bathroom. Didn't want to swim in the pool given how poorly cleaned my room was. I got what I paid for but even for this price range it's bad. Thankfully, I only had to endure 2 nights here. Book somewhere else if you want to a place to recharge. This is the most depressing place I have stayed at during my 3.5 months travelling around SE Asia.

Very much enjoyed staying at jo's homestay, returned there 3 times during my 3 week stay on the amazing island of lombok, staff are always there to help and situated in a quiet area of kuta but still close to all amenities

A fridge maybe but was never an issue for me

Location was fantastic, easy walk to the beach with the kids. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Accomodation is basic but good for the price you pay.

The monkeys are annoying but your going to get that in lombok

The staff was very friendly. We had a TV show every morning with the monkeys. Be careful with food otherwise they wanna steal it.

Communication could be improved if all the staff would be able to speak proper english. The engineers of the bathroom haven't done their best job as the water is not running down.

Jo homestay really is value for money, super clean well lit modern rooms and a swimming pool! 2 minutes walk to one of the best beaches in Indonesia. We would have stayed longer, only we had pre booked accommodation ahead of time.
