Basic rooms but fine for short stay and budget conscious

the pool was nice, the room was clean, staff were nice, the beach and the city is really close, there were monkeys

the room was a bit humid, in the bathroom after showering there was a big puddle right in front of the toilet that didnt go away, it was quite expensive for what you got, but still the cheapest we could find last minute

The spacious Family Room has 2 comfy double beds with clean linen & lightweight comforters. AC is efficient. Basic rooms, but have what is needed, with shelves & cupboard & a table & chairs inside too. Cold shower. For this price though, I'd expect hot showers. Breaky; classic choice of pancakes, toast & eggs, nasi/mie goreng, plus a Lombok coffee or nescafe. Takes a while to cook, and is... well, it's ok

It's fine. These are not deal breakers, but; Pool not super clean or inviting. Monkeys; we were told they visited occasionally. One morning they were particularly cheeky. Don't leave anything outside your room. Bathroom basin leaks underneath.

I liked the location, pretty close to the Beach which was perfect for beginning surfing

The staff didn't speak english and you can tell that they were working because just money but they were not happy or sociable people , one of the staff was the nicest who lent me to use her charger but just the owner knew about how the job was supposed to be done.

Good and basic. Did run out of some items.

Shower head didn’t work, lockable cupboard in room didn’t work and fell off, no toilet paper on arrival, bins were not emptied from the room in 5 day stay at any time so lots of ants. Staff not good at service. Understand they can’t speak English. Buts it’s obvious to Eg. Get breakfast, or offer to fill up water bottle. Would like a sheet on the bed, not just a quilt - gets too hot or too cold. All easy to fix things that would bring rating from a 3 to a 10. Everybody wants a shower that works, a bin cleaned, fresh towel and staff that are helpful.

Proximity to beach

Awful experience. Room was 3 x the price of my previous homestay and awful room for price. Frogs in bathroom on toilet coming up through hole near pipes. Messaged for room change - no response, Booking.com messaged - no response. Left after one night and lost my money. Worst experience in Asia by far I would not recommend staying at this over expensive shabby homestay. Also need moped.
