Downtown View 4 Sleepers Studio- Great for Getaway

Very clean, value for money and facilities were excellent (had clean utensils, a good microwave, dishwashing detergent).

The studio was located right under the path of planes landing/departing from San Diego Airport. Although ear plugs were provided, it wasn't particularly comfortable to wear them while sleeping. The area of the studio was also quite dark at night and could be a bit sketchy.

Good space, Excellent bed, heating/AC, close to Balboa Park and downtown.

The airplanes did not bother us, we did not need to use the earplugs that was supplied. The ceiling and walls not very soundproofing, we could hear neighbors moving in the stairway and apartment above. Some homeless people staying in the neighborhood but better a couple of quarters on the way to downtown

Spacious room and good amenities

Great location between little Italy and Balboa. Good selection of stores and restaurants. Great room for the price.

The blinds let too much light in.

My stay here was great. Room was spacious and bed was super comfortable. Staff was responsive, though I didn't really need much since everything was as expected...only needed a change of towels since I was here for a week. Location is is very convenient. Balboa Park is across the street, Petco Park (Padres) and Gas Lamp District is a straight walk down 6th Ave, Little Italy is a short walk and only a few blocks away. Even public transit is convenient (No. 2 and 3 buses one block over). And of course, the price is amazing especially considering the location and SD prices. Flight pattern for SAN airport is a nearby but you really don't hear the planes. Not disruptive at all.

The bed was so comfortable! One of the best beds I've ever been in! I loved the shower as well!

Honestly, nothing wasn't bad. I think the floor boards may be a bit thin because we heard our upstairs people walking around. Then downstairs as well but no one bothered us too long.
