Nice and clean

Did not have microwave

We booked on booking.com and received a confirmation message from the property yet we did not have the room available when we arrived and had to drive another 3+ hours to find another available hotel room that could accommodate our family of five.

On a beautiful lake. Remote

Nice motel style room on Cline River, 15mins walk to Abraham Lake. Room had all necessary amenities. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was decent with plenty of hot water. Ate at the one site restaurant which was very busy (Saturday evening on a long public holiday weekend), but staff were clearly working very hard and we got our food a lot quicker than expected.

The floors were cold - we had a pet friendly room, I don't know if the regular rooms had carpets. There was also a sign in the room saying that if there were pet hairs on the bedspread/duvet that we would be charged $200. I was very paranoid then about my dog as she does like to jump on the furniture. Would have helped to know this before as I would have bought separate bedding/blanket to protect the bed.

Not complete of the necessary appliances such as microwave, etc.

Staff was friendly. Very quiet location.

Wifi signal was extremely weak in the room, and therefore could not check anything on my phone. I had to get out of the room in order to get a stronger signal. Also, the first morning, housekeeping ladies were quite loud and making noise with their carts at 8 AM, which disturbed my rest/sleep.
