David Thompson Resort

the bathroom had been renovated, the heating had been updated.

the "resort" is very rundown. the restaurant was not really a restaurant, very run down from 10yrs ago. I was excited to revisit but I was disappointed.

Spacious room but very basic. Good sized fridge.

Very basic kitchenette, room had been re decorated but no finishing touches.

Great location and beds were comfortable

Sound travelled too well between the rooms. I could hear every word of my neighbours as well as their alarm. Had several burnt out lightbulbs in my room

Friendly staff and great food on they restaurant.

Stayed on ground level the no use from above room was very noise. The floor squeezed and the walls are paper thin.

The location is the best part about this place. It is 30 minutes from the town of Nordegg, has its own trail to Abraham Lake, and very close to tons of other trails.

The room was very dirty and it was obvious it was hardly cleaned, possibly just linens changed and garbage taken out. There was dirt and hair all over the bathroom floor, and walls of the shower. The shower also drained so slowly that it filled up to my ankles during a short shower. We could easily hear any noise coming from the rooms above and beside us. It was very overpriced for what you get, even if cleaned properly.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Bonus: There was a hidden gem of a restaurant next door at Aurum that had incredible food!

The place was quite old and fun down. The kids facilities were in poor condition.
