Sidney Waterfront Inn & Suites

It was clean and comfortable! Location was great and staff were awesome.

No issues other than it would be nice to have on site snacks like pop etc to purchase.

- Great location, minimal walking for supplies, dinner, local township and waterfront. - Late check in available. - Pretty generous breakfast.

- Air-conditioning is quite loud and dated, with limited ability to open door for a breeze whilst keeping the unit secure, expected given the country is famous for being cold, brutal when trying to sleep on the long summer nights.

The room was on the first floor of the older original building with a small balcony with morning sunrise. The location was exactly what we hoped for. A lovely hot breakfast with egg, bacon, sausage , pastry or breads and excellent coffee. Breakfast was included and the hours were perfect: 6:30-10:30. The breakfast room was small with only two tables they de to encourage you to take your food to your room by having a supply of trays with covers. Which we did each morning. The view on our little balcony was wonderful ( 121) Walk out the door and you have an ocean trail or the main toad , Beavan Road, to stroll to lots of shops. Grocery store is directly across the road too. The queen bed was a bit firm but comfortable. Lots of space in the queen suite if staying g for a few days like us.

The bed was firm and could use a topper if you like a softer sleep. The dressers could use and upgrade.

The location was great! Close to restaurants and a walking path on the ocean front.

This Inn is very over priced! It is old with '70's decore. The towels were old with some black marks and the bed mattress cover I swear was made of rubber because it made that rubber sound all night as I tossed and turned. The old window AC was also noisy. I know I will not stay here again.
