"Great location, sub-par hotel"

Great location, parking was close to the front door.

The room was in a very damp basement. The window wouldn’t open. I asked the front desk and I was shrugged off and was not offered help. The bathroom and room was quite dated and felt dirty because everything was old.

Breakfast was very good with good variety. Even though we had a great ocean view, the property was dated, so maybe not worth the price.

We only stayed overnight in the accommodation during the transfer, because it is close to the airport. I would like to highlight the friendly approach of the staff the most. Also, the breakfast, which is not usual in Canadian hotels, surprised us with its freshness. But I can imagine spending more time in this accommodation, it is in a very nice location.
