Hotel Brienzersee

Sehr gute Lage mit blick auf den See. 5 Minuten zum Schiffsanleger. Sehr freundliches, deutschsprechendes Personal. Gutes preis/leistungsverhältnis für Schweitzer Verhältnisse.

The view from the room was wow. They gave us a transportation card for the city. The breakfast is okay for this kind of hotel. The staff were nice and welcoming. 5 mins walking from the train and bus station

The bus and the train comes like every 30 mins so if you are in hurry and you have busy schedule it is not the best choice.

Balkon z panorama turkusowego jeziora Brienz na tle gór. Pyszne śniadania z możliwościa zjedzenia na tarasie z widokiem na jezioro. Duży pokój, zgrabna łazienka z prysznicem za szyba - wszystko działało jak należy. Winda. Jest teoretycznie klimatyzacja, ale nawiewu w pokoju nie widać i nie udało mi się jej właczyć pilotem -trzeba dokładnei wypytać personel jak to działa.

Everything! Great location, beautiful scenery, amazing staff and a room with a stunning view

The allowance of guest to smoke on their balconies. It was a beautiful setting and we wanted to enjoy the fresh air but couldn’t because of other guest on their balconies blowing smoke up. It felt like we were in a smoking room. Not sure what can be done other than to ban smoking outside and have specific smoking areas or specific smoking rooms (indoors only)

The room was perfect. The only slight challenge was the lack of air conditioning in the room given the Europe wide heatwave but the hotel very happily provided a pedestal fan and the room had a wide door on to a private balcony so I was able to sleep with the door open all night.
