Hotel Terminus Brugg

Very nice refurbished room, comfortable bed. Ultra white and clean towels in a modern bathroom. Hotel is located across the street from the trainstation,(25 min to Zurich) I will definitely recommend this friendly, family owned and operated hotel . ok wifi, adequate breakfast!

Very good located in the center of Brugg is one of the very few good things about the hotel. It seam that for this hotel the clock stoped about 40 years ago in the time when russian and american spyes hide here.

Stayed here a few times before and was pleasantly surprised to find that they have refurbished about half of the rooms. I stayed in one of the modernised rooms, with flat screen TV, high spec. bathroom fittings, decent desk and chair and lots of electrical outlets (although beware that the only socket to take a type E/F plug is in the bathroom, all others only accept type C plugs with the slim plug head surround). Very suitable for a business stay but perhaps still a bit functional for a luxurious holiday/tourist stay. Depends what you're looking for.

We stayed three weeks for business and it is a nice place to stay. Free parking. Supermarkets, main train and bus station are within five minutes walking distance. Good breakfast and hospitality. Room is clean and comfortable. The price is not bad

I've stayed at Hotel Terminus many times for work. The location of the hotel is excellent, a few minutes walking distance from the train and bus station and they offer free Wi-fi. The rooms are always spotless and very spacious but they're very outdated and tired looking. They definitely need a revamp, especially as the rooms are quite pricey. However, the hotel is run by a family and the owner, I believe his name is Alfred, is a very friendly host. You get a free drink (includes their regional beer) for every day you stay there, which is nice and thoughtful. Overall, a nice hotel with good location but slightly expensive for what it has to offer.

It has not that big but clean rooms. Personnel is very friendly. Good breakfast. Fast enough WiFi. Location is very convenient: railway station and bus station are 1 min away, 2 good super markets (COOP and Migros) is 2 min away from the hotel. General perception is ok.

Terminus hotel is a hotel with 2 main problems: -Is old fashioned -There is no wifi at the Rooms, only at the reception. But it has few good things: -It is one of the cleanest hotels i have every been. -The location, just in front of SBB station is perfect. -The owner is a really kind, pleasant and helpful man. Price is more or less average in Switzerland (125 swiss francs per night)

For CHF100+ per night, this hotel offers very little above the most basic requirements. It's difficult to see how my room (see photos) lives up to even the 3-star rating, with its dingy dated furnishings, drab brown decor, and few facilities. Free wifi is unhelpfully restricted to the lobby, so add a further CHF5 per day to your cost to stay here, if you want something as basic as internet access in your room. (CHF10, if you want it for both your phone and laptop, since the CHF5/day cost won't allow more than one device online!). There are no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms, though one complimentary water, cola, or beer is offered per day. The breakfast is a basic continental one. Overall, it's expensive (like most hotels in Switzerland), but it is not at the same standard as those in nearby towns and cities, and your money would be better spent elsewhere.

We arrived after 10:00 pm and had been given instructions on how to enter the hotel as the lobby would be closed. This went well and we were able to get into our rooms. The room is standard European: small, clean, utilitarian. Nice bed, good fixtures in the bathroom. It was a hot day in summer time without air conditioning, and my room was on the train station side, so noisy when I had the window open. The breakfast buffet was okay, but didn't stand out.

The old couple who run this place are absolutely adorable. They were so very helpful and accommodating. The décor is very 80s, but very clean and comfy. but for 125 CHF it was good value. They lent me an adaptor, as I hadn't realised Switzerland was different. Wifi is charged for rooms, but free in the lobby, which was fine, because the lobby is large and comfortable and the wifi was fast enough for us to live-stream a sporting match. Breakfast was generous with lots of variety. Location can't be beat, its directly across from the main train station,and is an easy walk to restaurants. They also give you one free drink from the minibar in your room.
