We were amazed on the great property Arvum lands on. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Out breakfast had a very nice touch from the kitchen, we regret that we didn't have dinner the night before, but we had a plentiful lunch in downtown Guatape. Rooms, beds, linens and bathrooms we're high in class. Although the hotel is somehow distant from downtown Guatape it was very easy to arrange for transportación. The "moto chivas" are a very good experience. The only but at this moment is that the water level is at a historical low, but expectation from local people is that it Will replenish in a couple of months, even with this we deeply enjoyed our Guatape 2 day stay.

El Hotel es muy elegante y acogedor. La vista desde la habitación era hermosa: se vé el Peñol de Guatapé. El servicio y la atención fueron excelentes y nos agradó mucho la conversación que tuvimos con Marieta. Nos dieron un paseo en un tik tok hasta la ribera del cuerpo de agua y pasamos un rato muy agradable allí observando el paisaje. Feliz de haber escogido este hotel.

The staff, the food and the view exceeded my expectation 100% recommend

We stayed one night at the property - it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this hotel! First, shout out to the manager, Felipe! Felipe is not only a great manager, but also a very warm and welcoming host. Every interaction with him was like speaking with a new friend! He was very helpful to answer any of our questions or book excursions, including booking a tuktuk to explore Guatape & a driver/car to drive us to Medellin. He even helped me with my Spanish and was more than happy to do so! He also gave us a great tour of the hotel, which includes the avocado farm, orange trees, and future additions to the property. He and his dog Mara were wonderful, and we would go back even just to see them! The hotel itself was beautiful. At first, when we were pulling up on a bumpy road, I was hesitant about the place - but only for a moment! It is a pretty new place, extremely clean, and very very comfortable. The main outdoor restaurant seating area was peaceful and beautiful both in the day and the night (when the sky is dark and the lights turn on). We had an amazing view of the landscape, including La Piedra. Our stay was extra-special, as we ended up being the only guests! One of the highlights was simply relaxing at the restaurant in the evening having wine, reading a book, chatting with Felipe, all while taking in the view and the stars. Speaking of food - it was delicious! Every ingredient was fresh, and the produce used was grown on the farm. We ate every meal there, and it was always great. Felipe would even pick the oranges off the tree for orange juice earlier that same day! The hotel has a location that is close to La Piedra, the center of both Guatape and El Penol. And, you can definitely do further activites as well. Part of me wants to keep this place a secret, but it was such a great stay that we would highly recommend this hotel for others.

Our experience was amazing! Marietta and Felipe made our stay worries free. The food was delicious and the place very beautiful. I highly recommend it for a relaxing gateway.
