Close to train station. Unparalleled view!! Good restaurant, wonderful pizza. Enjoyed the patio with the view. Quiet at night.

Bed was a bit too hard for our liking.

La chambre que nous avons occupée était très agréable, avec un bel espace, une literie confortable et des équipements de qualité qui permettent de profiter d’un séjour reposant. L’hôtel bénéficie également d’un emplacement de choix, en plein centre de Wengen, ce qui le rend pratique pour accéder rapidement aux commerces, aux restaurants ainsi qu’aux départs pour les excursions en montagne.

En revanche, notre chambre se trouvait juste à côté des lignes de chemin de fer, ce qui a généré des nuisances sonores régulières et parfois gênantes, surtout en début et en fin de journée. Nous avons aussi été un peu déçus par l’attitude du personnel, qui nous a semblé assez froid et distant, manquant de la convivialité et de la chaleur que l’on apprécie particulièrement dans un séjour à la montagne.

We did like that the staff was very nice and the location right next to the train station is great. Also, the view from the terrace is amazing. We would stay here again if it was another room with mountain view. Hot tub with a view was very nice and perfect temperature.

Beware if you take the budget room and you are a light sleeper. I was aware that I wasn’t taking a mountain view room, but didn’t expect to not sleep well for the 4 nights we were there. You will not sleep, trains come around all night and you can hear them because you will want to leave the windows open because there is no A/C. You can also hear people walking and talking outside your room. The room was not hot though, it was the perfect temperature (we went in September). If you stay here, make sure you take a mountain view room because these are on the other side and I asume you will not hear the train or other noises. Our view were literally the train tracks and people walking uphill (see photo attached).Also, the bathroom would get completely flooded everytime we took a bath because the shower glass was too short. Our room had very poor ilumination, we could barely see during the night and early morning. Breakfast was very basic, and eggs were not served until 8am, so this can cause some inconvenience if people want to go up to the mountains very early.

The views from each room and the dining area are breathtaking. The Spa is sensational. The staff such as Dima, Sanya and Daniel were outstanding and made the stay memorable. A hotel we will certainly return to.

The breakfast was plentiful with good options such as eggs, fruit, toast and coffee. The staff was wonderful and always checking on the guests.

We only ate at restaurant one night. The menu and selection of food was not our preference.
