Hotel Maya Caprice

The view from the room balcony is simply stunning and possibly the best in Wengen. We liked to sit on the balcony and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Great sized room with lots of storage and decent sized bathroom. Staff are friendly & prompt at breakfast service. Good choice of breakfast items. Spa is an added bonus and very nicely done.Sofa bed in the annex to the main bedroom not the most comfy but bearable for a 3 night stay. Fascinating to watch the train pass the hotel on its way up the mountain. We loved the location of this hotel as we could explore really easily. Imagine in the winter it is very cosy.

Sauna was good, views are incredibly beautiful from the terrace, room is large.

Breakfast was too late and the staff are too inflexible for it to be useful for hikers, the shower in the room is the worst I’ve seen in any hotel - water all over the bathroom, too small, and low water pressure, staff members were bad to average, bed was okay but not very comfortable, other patrons in the spa had bad hygiene, breakfast was average.

Close to train, calm and friendly staff. Our room had an amazing view. Bathroom good size. Omelettes cooked for you fresh for breakfast.

They didn’t tell us no pizzas on Mondays and we had been looking forward to it all day.

I loved the staff in this hotel! From front desk, room service, maid service, and restaurant so top notch! We will stay here again when we come back! Sonja and Demetrie, the absolute best! Such a great super fantastic views from our room! Wew! A great overall experience! The food is very good at Maya Caprice! Everything is good at Maya Caprice!
