So close to the train station

This place is an absolute gem. The views and location are simply not to be believed. The staff is nurturing and personable. They are all so kind!! The food is the star of the show. Their chef is literally magical. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Fabulous view. Jacuzzi was nice. Wine pairing dinner was excellent! Nice balcony! Wait staff very nice!

No coffee maker in the room! I had to go downstairs every morning for coffee so wasn’t able to sit on our balcony to enjoy. Linens and pillows not comfortable at all, seemed old and mismatched. No washcloths at all. Minibar in room is Not included and we were charged for everything! I would recommend they have a sign that states mini bar charges. Also invest in new linens and pillows and a keureg coffee machine in the room

Very clean and staff was extremely kind and helpful. Had all the amenities and excellent location. The restaurant was Michelin quality, outstanding!

The most convenient position from the train station, THE most lovely staff who helped us with a broken case wheel as soon as we arrived with a special mention going to Sanja who was the face of our stay, helping us with great advice and lovely greetings every day. THE BALCONY VIEW (the most spectacular view I’ve ever seen, I’m getting a canvas made of it) and equally the view from the bar terrace, what a way to have pre dinner drinks. Our junior suite room was amazing - so well thought out; luxurious and clean with fun little den areas for the kids in the ceiling hides. I can’t believe this trip was even real, it was so fairytale-esque. Perfect. Thanks so much Maya Caprice.

Our stay at Maya Caprice in Wengen was absolutely fantastic. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the view from our balcony was truly out of this world—easily one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The staff were wonderful—everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and genuinely accommodating. The breakfast each morning was excellent and had everything we needed to start the day right. We also appreciated the daily housekeeping service—they did a great job keeping the room spotless throughout our stay. The location is ideal—just a short walk from the Wengen train station, which made everything super convenient. The only thing we missed was having a coffee machine in the room, but that wasn’t a major issue. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would absolutely stay here again on our next visit to Wengen. Highly recommend!

One small suggestion: the room felt quite dark without sunlight. A bit more lighting would’ve made the space feel warmer and more comfortable in the evenings.

My wife, two kids in their early twenties, and our oldest's partner all stayed in the family suite for 3 nights. The hotel is amazing, the staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the suite, which had a primary bedroom with king bed and private balcony overlooking Lauterbrunnen valley, a second bedroom with two twin beds and a twin bunk, and living room with queen sized sofa bed and one bathroom in the hallway, was perfect. There were smart TV's in both bedrooms and the living room, which also had its own balcony facing the back side of the hotel overlooking the train station. Breakfast was delicious and included, and the Coop market was right behind the hotel adjacent to the train station, which made it super convenient to pick up wine and prepared foods. Hotel Maya Caprice is perfectly positioned for the insane views you are hoping to see, and is so close to the train station that it was also incredibly convenient for all of our day trips to Kleine Scheidegg, Murren, Gimmelwald, Schilthorn, and Lauterbrunnen - literally out the hotel door and onto the train in 2 minutes. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurant, but we did order 3 pizzas to take to the room one night and they were delicious (and discounted 20% since we didn't have table service at the restaurant)!

Everything was absolutely perfect.

The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning! It was like waking up in a fairytale every morning. The breakfast was superb. We enjoyed the hot tub a couple of times and just marveled at the scenery, especially the evening when the moon rose over the mountain. But, what truly exceeded expectation was the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, it made our stay the most enjoyable hotel experience we've ever had.
