Suitenhotel Zurbriggen

The property is really nice, although a bit small. The room was very spacious and breakfast was served in the room - very delicious! Staff was nice enough to give us a room upgrade.

This hotel was my biggest frustration during my whole trip... This was my engagement trip and I carefuly chose this hotel to be the best one of our whole stay. I stayed there for one day only, and on that exact date the SWIMMING POOL WAS NOT WORKING (it was not heated and it was -8 degrees outside!!!!). This was VERY FRUSTRATING, I spent at least 5 months thinking about that moment and it got totally ruined (I tried to get in the water but it was just too cold). Staff did not care AT ALL (they just said "oh it's broken I can't do anything"). Also, when we arrived they left us waiting for 15+ mins at the train station (we had scheduled a time for them to pick us up) and no one answered in Booking, telephone or Instagram. The shower was very cold as well. Besides that, when we were leaving they made us wait for 20+ more mins because their computer was not working and they needed to check something (I paid for everything before getting there), I almost lost my train because of that (once again we had schedule a time to get back to the train station).

Breakfast was phenomenal, eggs ordered to your preference, quiet and cozy, with service that was very attentive.

Not a dislike, but I wish they gave individual choice for breakfast. Whatever my husband ordered, I received also even when I put my own order/preference. We were given one cup of coffee each morning. The kitchen needs at least one big pot, a big frying pan and a pair of scissors. I wanted to make pasta but there was no pot or pan I could use. The dining chairs are not very comfortable because of all the metals.

Everything is amazing here!
