Great place! Roman and his wife could not have been nicer! The breakfast they provided was amazing! I would stay here again in a hearbeat!

I liked everything! My comment for others is they are located in the jungle. Which is a huge plus for seeing animals. The rooms are simple and can get warm. Roman provided an additional fan when asked. So accomodating!! My only suggestion is a rubber mat in the shower might be a good idea. The floors a lovely but can be slippery.

The pool was a nice respite from the heat. The canopy of trees surrounding the dining area provided beauty and great sightings of birds, monkeys, agouti, butterflies and morr. The breakfast was the best of anywhere I've traveled. But the very best thing was how lovely Roman and Bettina were as people and hosts. They really care about the comfort of their guests. It will be one of our best memories of this trip.

It was all fine. They are hard at work on renovations to an old property and I think it will just get better and better

The breakfast was great- very plentiful, fresh, and delicious. The natural setting of the lodge allowed for viewing wildlife and birds which was a big bonus for me. The owners were very nice and always willing to meet my needs.

The sign at the road could be brighter and more visible.

The nature around the place, very nice to enjoy the rainforest. We could see animals like cappuccino monkeys near the restaurant. Very good breakfast.

No air condition at the room but it has a fan that works fine.

This place is paradise. We saw more animals here than anywhere else so far in Costa Rica. Even though it is just off the main highway, it is the jungle. The property is large, and full of trees. A troupe of monkeys comes to visit almost everyday. There are agouti, coati, iguana, toucans, hummingbirds, and at night, not far away, coyotes. There is an absolute symphony of nature sounds. The owner, Bettina, and her daughters, are lovely. The breakfast is great - fresh fruit, fresh buns, eggs, cereal, coffee. It kept us going all day. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the Nauyaca Waterfalls, Marino Ballena National Park and the Uvita beach, Hacienda Baru nature trails, the Alturas Wildlife Sancturary, and more. There is a lovely swimming pool. We would do an excursion in the morning, and hang out by the pool in the afternoon. We were here for six nights, and had a fantastic time. Would definitely visit again.

Bettina is an amazing host and goes out of her way to help. Very warm and welcoming. It is a wildlife haven. It was great fun to swim with Daisy the Duck to. X

Excellent breakfast with delicious home-made bread, eggs, whatever we wanted, we got it ! Noce pool-area !

Nothing was illuminated, we arrived in the dark, the pathways were slippery and the gardens were not maintained at all. The rooms are not comfortable, the beds were lousy, synthetic cheap sheets, no side-table in between the beds.
