El Pargo Feliz

Super chill - the staff are lovely - family run business - you pay for what you get - I felt very relaxed always here - the sound of the waves is lovely - this is not a luxury hotel you pay for what you get but the location couldn’t be any more perfect - it’s near the turtle hatchery - you’re right on the beach - the restaurant next to the hotel does the best food in the area. I loved this place it has so much charm and character

Right on the edge of town, but I missed it the first time as the sign is faded and hidden. If you're a 20 year old beach bum it's fine. If you're older, I soon found a nicer place with AC for the same money.

The windows are screened and face the ocean. The hallway/balcony for the rooms on either side of you pass directly in front of the windows, so any neighbour walking buy can look directly into your room. You can close slatted doors over the windows, but then you don't see the ocean and airflow is restricted. Pick your poison.

Rooms are nice, clean, spacious and the balcony is awesome and relaxing. You could sometimes spot small animals from up there. The staff provided us with all the information we needed!

The garden wasn't maintained and did not look much like in the pictures. A little pricy compared to other locations we stayed in, given that you have no real common area or kitchen.
