good location

Lots of mosquitoes inside the cabin, the price is a bit high for what you get (no hot water either).

We stayed for 3 nights in Montezuma and had a gorgeous time at this hotel ! Nice, big rooms with a daily room service! The location is at the beach and directly in town, but still quiet. We loved it !

The view and hammock, parking space partly sun screened

Not called the Happy Snapper the first thing the owner told me on arrival, it only has the Spanish name. Very noisy town/area, 3 sleepless nights meant we left the accommodation 2 days early. The room advert said the room had a balcony, but this was not a private balcony for the room-which is what the advert meant and the listing must be changed as the guests from the other rooms had to walk through our part of a long shared balcony to leave or enter. Hosts seemed tired of the guests. We were told off for leaving a cushion overnight on a chair on the balcony instead of leaving it in the hammock, when I clearly didn't understand the difference, Victoria said that the cat can spoil it, if it's left on the chair!! No fridge in room- what used to be the kitchen had a communal fridge. No cooking facilities or hot water drink-making facilities at all on the premises. We both found Victoria's behaviour uncomfortable, she was abrupt and unfriendly-Instead of asking us if we wanted the room cleaned, she would sneak into our room daily to check it, when we weren't there, even though she saw us on the way out, so she could have easily asked our permission. Sorry to keep moaning.. very uncomfortable bed. Pay more money and go somewhere else.

No hot water, bathroom in a very bad state

great location but signage made us feel uncomfortable for theft in the area. the front desk was awesome in allowing later check out. very close to walking for shopping and dining. pretty garden and ocean views.

water pressure was terrible in sink and shower. didn’t feel safe to leave any valuables in room. beach access from property was hard to walk on but not far from easier access down the street. seemed more like a mid grade hostel than any kind of hotel which is what we expected when booking.

Great location in town, lovely views of the sea from the bedrooms with a hammock outside each room to relax in. It is fairly basic but has charm.

The walls are very thin so you can hear everything but it is lovely to hear the sea. Not so great to hear the barking dogs at sunrise!

The beds are a bit too hard, and the accommodation is a bit old.

Very central to the village, close to the beach and lovely hammocks in front of the room.

I love the size of the rooms. They were very spacious with high ceilings. I also love the sound of the ocean crashing against the rocks right outside my window. The hammock is very comfortable. They are made of thick braided material. Sort of like a braided rug.

I had a creature fluttering around my room on the second night. I had to leave the light on so it would stop flying. He was probably there the first night also. The thought of that just freaks me out.
