This was a real spur of the moment choice for us as we simply needed a one night stop on our motorcycle trip back to the UK. What a gem! Situated in a beautiful wooded area and approached via a little road that you could quite easily miss it was an absolute delight for us to find. A very calm and tranquil setting immediately adjacent to a lake. Our room looked out over the lake and breakfast (excellent breakfast by the way) can be taken sitting right alongside the lake. Our evening meal was delightful and the staff are helpful whist not being overbearing. We would certainly stay here again.

The staff were nice and professional. The bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. Love the fact that the room came with a tub and not just a standing shower.

Dinner was a bit expensive but the portion/quality/taste of the food was worth the price.

Awesome location with very friendly staff and am excellent restaurant serving the fish the hotel produces.

Room was beautiful with private garden area right onto lake. Breakfast delicious. Little shop full of lovely jewellery, ornaments etc. wildlife everywhere - black swans, kingfishers, herons, owls….

Very nice location. Although should write explicitly about which part of the hotel is rented - near the lake or not. Otherwise wonderful setting. Had one hike and one family walk nearby. Dinner and breakfast setting is perfect. Dinner and breakfast also very good quality. Staff super friendly.

Bed mattress. I never complain about this but way too soft (and made).

Charming small hotel & restaurant on the beautiful Eiswoog lake with lovely views. Our room was large, had a terrace, large windows with lake views and very comfortable beds. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. We ate at the restaurant one evening only as it’s very expensive. Our meals were nice but not good value so ate elsewhere the next night. We enjoyed our stay.

Very expensive restaurant Many steps to navigate to the room from reception with bags especially the metal stairs from reception to the hotel wing. The hotel needs better access.

absolutely worth the drive, very friendly staff, good food, splendid breakfast, very clean basic room.
