It was tired, but very clean and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and friendly.

Decent room size, nice balcony. Very good experience at an excellent price.

Not the hotels fault but be aware of the loud church bells on the hour. Fortunately they stop at 10pm but they do start at 6am.

Not happy with arrangements for our group. Owner insisted we pay before we arrived & couldn't accommodate us with the type of rooms we booked. Stingy, penny pincher. Rooms were well dated & not reasonably priced for state of rooms. Breakfast was in a cramped little room where all & sundry can eavesdrop on your conversations. Reminded me of a hostel ,but for old folks. Wouldn't recommend,even if on a budget.

Great hotel it was a typical black forest guest house. We went walking nearby staff were helpful put our German to shame with their English ! Good breakfast.

I enjoyed it all some may find it a little dated but I felt that added to the charm

Love the view from the balcony and the very friendly staff
