Zou Qu Ye Travel Hotel

- Centrally located - Very efficient use of space - Tea/Coffee and kettle provided - helpful staff

- slightly overpriced for the room size/ammenities - A/C heating did not work

The hotel location is the best part about the hotel. It is very close to most of the main sights in Chongqing, such as hongyadong (i was even able to walk back to the hotel from hongyadong after the metro stopped running), jiefangbei etc. This was the most important reason why I booked the hotel. However, the hotel itself is pretty basic and there doesn't really seem to be much in the way of amenities. The room is also pretty small and basic. Overall, it met my standards for my trip since I was out and about most of the day, but for the money I have had better stays in China, though I understand the price is higher over the lunar new year holiday.

Good location and fairly cheap.

The hotel is more of a hostel than a hotel. Customer service was quite poor - asked a member of staff for some water and the customer support was not good. No staff member available for check out (at 8am). Bed sheets were dirty and room had stains on the surfaces. No tea or coffee in room as you would expect from a hotel. I would not recommend stay to a friend.

The location is exceptional, really close to Zengjiayan Interchange (5 mins walk down the street) and major tourist destinations. Great bargain for the price. You still get a fully serviced room and a full length bed, if small. Cheap bottled drinks from the hotel reception, which is very convenient. We booked a room with Garden View as having a window is important to us, but not all rooms have windows.

Lack of elevator may pose accessibility issues, especially if you need to carry luggage with you.

Great location, right next to a metro station.

The facilities were a bit old, the toilet broke during our stay.

Quiet ground floor room of good size Hotel close to metro and many attractions. Easy to use metro to find numerous restaurants and shops. Staff helpful with tour arrangements and user transfer to high-speed train station. This is a boutique hotel that may not suit all travellers. But we would stay again for all the positives Washing machine and drying area

Hotel area is a bit rundown. Room facilities are fairly basic but adequate Lots of interesting books and cds in the lobby bit we didn't use those

Good location.

Dirty and very noisy. I stayed for many days but the staff never set up and clean up my bedsheet. It was very messy. I’ve never stayed in the hotel that not clean up the customers’ bedsheet before. I waited for one hour for room clean up for the first day. I arrived at 4:00 pm. They said the room had not done yet. The cleaner is very lazy!!! She put my slipper in the garbage. I want to use it again and didnt put a new slipper in the room. NOT RECOMMENDED!!
