The Vestry

Location was perfect, in the middle of town. Car parking behind but at owners risk. I didn't see if there were cameras or not keeping an eye on the cars. Ben and Beth were both good hosts. They told me that the ear plugs were because some nights are noisy. The night I stayed was student night. So was a bit noisy. As well as some local things about the town and wall. The room itself was lovely and the bed and bedding very comfortable. The next morning the breakfast was absolutely 💯 percent fantastic. I am sorry I didn't know the ladies name. But she was very nice as well. Cooked breakfast didn't take too long to be cooked and served. Maybe 10 mins max. Very pleased I chose this place.

The only things I didn't like was the windows were quite dirty and seeing as they were pull down windows , there was no real excuse. And in the bathroom there was quite a thick layer of dust on the door itself and along the bath skirting as well.

Not impressed - the standard of hotel and room ways below the rate paid £143 !!! It looks like cheap hotel in a cheap town !! I would pay £70 max !!

Great location near the station. Lovely friendly staff to welcome you and the room was a good size and breakfast was very good. There was no noise from the hotel when I visited on a Thursday night.

Rooms are a little tired.

The location was ideal for my short break and the room was perfect. The staff were very helpful.

Location to train station was most important for me because I had a 6am train back into London after my stay
