The bonus for us was the excellent restaurant attached to the accommodation.

The room was very tired and dated.

Short break in Surrey

Easy parking and staff very friendly. The room was poor, with lumpy mattress. There was very little sound proofing and very noise from road, guest coming and going. Window in room didn’t close properly.

It was easy to find, and check in was straightforward, staff were polite

Bed was uncomfortable, bathroom had a very strong unpleasant smell, kettle didn’t fit under the tap in the sink.

Very cozy

The Woodcock Inn is conveniently located on the A 22 road just outside East Grinstead. The entrance is located at the back of the building which took a little effort to find but the friendliness of the family who manage the hotel was very pleasing. The breakfast was cooked to order with a choice of hot food although no cereals were served. The lunch time dish of Nepalese food was of a high quality. The bedroom was very comfortable.

Nothing stood out as unacceptable.
