The White House

The small room was adequate for my needs, as I was only staying as a B&B guest. Excellent breakfast, which lasted until dinner time.

Everything was fine, no complaints

My bedroom was undergoing upgrading at the time of my visit, but the facilities in that room were outstanding. Downstairs, this hotel boasts three separate dining areas, decorated in the most unique style offering guests the chance to enjoy pre dinner drinks in a bar area, then a move to the dining area with the option of taking coffee or drinks back to the relaxing bar area. It felt far more like dinner at a very affluent friend’s house than dining at a hotel. Service was friendly and helpful, the menu offered some outstanding choices, and the food was excellent. I rarely eat dessert, but the Eton Mess was amongst the best I have tasted. The third dining area? Well if you want to experience breakfast in an airy conservatory, surrounded by a life sized model of a baby giraffe (I kid you not) and other exotic animals surrounded by displays of exquisite china, then it’s well worth booking in and staying for breakfast. And yes, the china on which meals was served would not have looked out of place in an upmarket antique shop. So on the outskirts of Sennybridge lies what I can only describe as an upmarket dining club with rooms for guests. It has to be experienced!

Food was exceptional and Bryan and Adrian were the perfect hosts. Very friendly and always had time for you.

Rooms could have been a tiny bit cleaner..cobwebs in corners and shower could have been a bit better.

Helpful staff and good food. Parking easy for motorbike. Decor was great.

Fab breakfast

radiator was on in the bedroom, couldn't switch off so had windows open but that let traffic noise in.

The sheets were clean.

One bedroom was under refurbishment. No paint or paper on two walls. The bathroom light would not turn off and my friend was advised just to keep the bathroom door closed which did not block out the light! The second bedroom had a light which kept going out when turned on! On arrival we were told there was only a limited menu on Tuesdays and that could only be served until 7pm. So no advance warning of this so, we had to drive back into Brecon. We did not have breakfast as we left at 6am to go to Royal Welsh Show. The door handle in our room did not fit so a gap in the door,

Very friendly staff clean and comfortable and food was good would highly recommend 👌
