Lovely and clean place to stay! The caretaker lady was friendly and attentive, making my stay even more comfortable. Highly recommend!

Really friendly hosts who couldn’t help enough. The room was a good size, comfy bed. Lots of facilities that you often don’t get in a hotel room like a fridge/microwave. The pictures really don’t do the rooms justice!

I'll start with the room, spotless, good size, great facilities ( fridge, kettle,microwave, toaster, plates and cutlery) no breakfast to be offered but besides the usual tea, coffee, sugar etc there was several breakfast cereal bars and even porridge! Lovely en suite with plenty of towels. Now I'll get to the landlady.... What a delightful lady, so helpful, we asked for local taxi numbers.. she booked it for me, gave superb recommendations of where to eat. If we venture back that way I'll be gutted if i can't stay here again 10/10

The kindness of the manager, the location, and the cleanliness. Very friendly and helpful - even found fresh milk in the fridge and Yorkshire Tea Bags

This is a 2* hotel - and as that it was exceptional

Friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere. Price was fair for the facilities available. Solid 3* establishment. Reasonably clean. Private entrance. Adequate for our needs. Kitchenette had a toaster and microwave which were very useful and minimal crockery and cutlery were provided. Staff kindly provided us with a small amount of milk to get us started when we arrived, along with sachets of tea, coffee, and sugar. Free parking on the road next to the accommodation was very useful and there was no problem finding a space. There were shopping facilities within easy walking distance to pick up provisions, if needed.

The shower room had no window and had a damp smell which emanated out into the bedroom and wasn't very pleasant.. The slip mat had black mould on the back of it and we didn't fancy using it. The sink cabinet had a crack in it which didn't look very clean. The sealant around the shower was black and a little mouldy. The bin in the bathroom had the remnants of rubbish from whoever had previously been in the room which was a little off putting.

The location was very handy for work, it saved me from driving 2 and a half hours each way to work, Which saved wear an tear on my car and me. I got a comfortable sleep after each night shift.

The room was small, but big enough and good value for money.
