The Millcroft Hotel

Prachtig hotel met uitzicht op Loch Gairloch. Zeer vriendelijke en behulpzame manager toen wij wat problemen hadden met het warme water. Voor ons een perfecte overnachting tijdens onze rondreis door noord Schotland.

The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood at Gairloch. The rooms were very clean. The apartment kitchen was locked and could not be used even to collect some water. The receptionist said due to fire hazard they keep the kitchen locked. The double room had a small kitchenette, which could not be used. The restaurant served some amazing food and one of the best Biryani we have had. Getting a Biryani in faraway Gairloch was a bonus. There is free parking available at the hotel.

Nothing really other than the fact that the kitchen was locked.

Great location and views from restaurant.

2 room suite, very small bedrooms, but bonus of private lounge on separate floor. Difficult to contact to pre booked meal. Fb messenger seemed best contact route.

Attractive setting with stunning views to the sea and the landscape. The staff were great, especially the waitresses for dinner and breakfast. Big surprise was the quality of the curries.

Parking was a bit tight and there was a bit of a workout with luggage to and from the overflow car park. Minor point.

Wir haben zwei Nächt auf unserer Rundreise hier Station gemacht. Die Lage mit Blick auf das Meer schön. Sehr netter Service. Das Abendessen war gut. Im Zimmer gab es die Möglichkeit, sich Tee/Kaffee zuzubereiten, was sehr angenehm ist.

Die Betten waren für unseren Geschmack ein bißchen zu weich. Beide Frühstücksvarianten waren üppig, leider ein wenig fett.
