Great Thai food in restaurant Comfy beds. Spotlessly clean Friendly hosts Big breakfast

Door was locked when we arrived. Had to look up phone number on Internet to be let in. All the draught ales were off in the bar (but they did have bottled ale for sale)

"nice handy hotel for a short stay in Builth"

great location handy for Builth, strange bar as not open to the public and opening hours for residents not the best, but understand footfall is not the best? Comfy room if a little small, nice shower and bedding, loads of products in the bathroom. Room was quiet and fan there for the hot weather.

Dog loose in the bar made a mess of my leg, needed a tetanus but I'll live, blood stain would not come out of my sock though.

Beautiful building inside. Host Paul very amiable.

Rather late booking in time 4pm However, town short walk over the bridge so went for food/drink. Host happy for us to leave our car in the car park.

"Stayed there before so I knew what to expect."

View towards the river; slightly noisy as hotel is on the main road but I knew that. Breakfast was excellent.

Shelf and mirror above basin in bathroom to low to be able to get best use of basin. I’m not keen on a board atvthe bottom of the bed as I am fairly tall.

Lovely old building with some period features but modern dining area as well. Very good value food large portions. It’s very easy to walk into the town.

Other than the bathroom door was super creaky it was lovely we were made to feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble.
