The Llanelwedd Arms Hotel

so cosy and friendly, the staff where so lovely the room was really clean and thought about everything you would need, the breakfast was huge and yummy. lovely location to where you could walk into the town for a wander. Perfect night stay

Lovely location opposite the river, great views. Easy walk to town centre. Paul was a very hospitable host. Offered a free room upgrade as the hotel was quiet 😊

The only negative was the shower. The shower head would not stay in place, meaning it had to be held, and poor water pressure.

Great staff , room and breakfast. Lots of protein and carbs for the group of cyclists. Paul was attentive,polite and couldn’t do enough for the group.

The only disappointment was not being able to have an evening meal . This was made clear when we booked as the main restaurant doesn’topen unril May

Paul and his wife were most accommodating with our requirements for secure cycle storage and ebike charging. They run a very comfortable establishment and the location was wonderful. I had a wonderful view of the river from my room. The breakfast was excellent and with a wide choice, was very good value. We would happily go back for a longer stay.

We should have stayed an extra night to better explore the local routes.

Location

We didn’t realise that the restaurant and bar were not available until we had paid for the room ( which was a priority in our search for accommodation ) and will be closed until May. Perhaps this should be highlighted in the description? £120 for one night, and having to walk into town for dinner seems poor value

Very clean and warm with an extensive range of items for use in the shower room.
