The Quay

I salute the owners,. This is a great pub with superb drinks selection, fine ales on frequent rotation, good value food, friendly and happy accommodating staff, Really made us feel welcome. nice room, no special views, but well appointed and everything in good working order. A few minutes walk from the main high street with wonderful individual shops and pubs/restaurants.

It's an old building and the stairs are steeper and narrower than you might have at home, so an old crock like me had to take more care. In the grand scheme of things, the positives far outweigh this minor issue.

Very central, attractive building, very pleasant room, comfortable beds.

We had a lovely stay at The Quay. Our room was on the top floor, spacious enough, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. All staff we interacted with were lovely. Breakfast was delicious.
