Lovely staff, comfy bed, clean room, standard breakfast.

The shower wasn't draining due to it being blocked and it took a while to get hot in the evening. Only issue otherwise enjoyed our stay :)

Very noisy environment. No one would be able to sleep in that room. Dirty room. Dirty towels from previous customer. Tacky interior.

Interesting history of the building, charming eclectic vintage atmosphere, delicious breakfast, large bathroom

Elevator was amazingly tiny, but that added to the interesting flavour of the place

The location and the main areas looked modern. Breakfast was included, and reasonable quality.

On arriving we were given a twin room when we had booked a superior double. We came back down to be greet by the receptionist to say let me check on another room. He then had a a key over for a room with a double bed. It was even smaller and not a superior. Back down stairs again. This time he smiled when I said that is not a superior. He made a song and dance that he would have to call his manager. After lots of messing around he said we have a superior on the top floor. We got in there. It was bigger. The toilet in this room was awful. When you sat on it you also sat on the bath at the same time. (No I am not a big fat person.) then the shower. I have seen more water come out of a watering can. Terrible. The bathroom looked like something out of a 1970 adult movie. We booked the hotel as it had a swimming pool. When asking about the pool the same receptionist laughed and said it’s an out door pool we don’t pay to heat it at this time. We only booked it for that reason. We feel duped, miss led and frankly had we not have complained about the room we would not have got what we paid for which in the end was below par!!

The location is very good, and the large parking area is a great bonus and very convenient for guests.

Rooms were very dusty and the carpet floors were dirty. As someone with allergies, I had a very difficult experience staying here for two nights. You could clearly feel that the room had not been cleaned properly for some time. The overall condition of the room felt tired and not well maintained.
