The Hotel Commodore

Great location in town, walking distance from main places we came to visit. Staff kindly upgraded us as it was husband’s birthday. Very comfortable Stay. Excellent breakfast.

Room was clean and comfortable. The public areas were comfortable and nice atmosphere. Staff were lovely going above and beyond to make our stay a happy experience 😊

Da wir mit den Motorrädern anreisten, der Parkplatz am Haus und Lokale und Geschäfte in der Nähe. Das Bett war groß und hatte eine gute Matratze. Frühstück war gut. Das Zimmer war sehr groß.

Das Haus ist alt und die Renovierungen sind teilweise sehr wenig fachgerecht, daher macht alles einen etwas heruntergekommenen Eindruck. Daher wirkt es auch nicht so sauber und war es teilweise auch nicht unbedingt. Wäre alles erträglich und okay gewesen, wenn das Zimmer nicht 150 Pfund gekostet hätte. Das war für den Standard zu teuer.

easy to find & park. Lounge areas looked beautiful & sumptuous. we were lucky to be upgraded to a four poster room for our 3 night stay - very much appreciated. gorgeous comfortable room - the size, decor, furniture, distant outlook, nice & quiet aspect/location. good/useful information pack in the room. nice tea/coffee making facilities. young man on duty Sunday evening seemed to be on the ball & proactive. lots of cereal choices at breakfast. nice town location easy for the theatre, restaurant etc

part of car park was flooded & a tight squeeze to park on Saturday evening. most of the staff were young/nervous/inexperienced. wifi dropped out each time I locked my phone so had to log in each time & it didn't seem to have enough oomph to view videos. hot water did take a long time to come through in the bathroom but the info pack did warn of that. breakfast options a bit limited - no pastries, mushrooms, hash browns/potato. toast was "communal!"
