Rooms and evening meal.

Breakfast - it was described as providing a 'great breakfast'. But what I received was a self-service continental breakfast, and a poor one at that. There was no chef, just a cleaner on duty. My expectations were not met.

Food was really good, recommend eating here! Easy parking everywhere, seperate entrance from the pub once you pick up your key. Bathrrom was nicely done and shower was good. Room was pretty quiet and heating was just about right (March) but you can adjust as needed. Plenty of towels and Yorkshire tea/coffee options in the room.

Was a bit worried about the socket near the bed as it seemed loose, I used the one on the other side. Curtains didn't block all the light and it decided to be bright morning the day I stayed. Was confused where to leave the key when I left, pub was shut so left in the room. Some extra hooks in the bathroom to hang stuff would also be nice.

The location was good,the cleaning lady was lovely and did an excellent job,the shower was great plenty of hot water and toiletries were provided,bed was comfy and the room had tea/coffee making facilities The breakfast situation was a bit odd as you had to pass through the kitchen into the pub/restaurant and there was no cooked option . Overall it did serve the purpose.
