Property Notes

Our restaurant is open from 12pm-3pm 5:30pm-8:30pm (Last Sitting). We have a Full menu available Monday – Saturday ranging from your classic dishes to grills and lighter options. Pre – Booking is advised. A Sunday Roast menu is available from 12pm-7:30pm – pre-booking is required. Breakfast is served in our Palm Bar from 7am-9am (Monday – Friday) and 8am-10am (Saturday/Sundays/Bank Holidays) Afternoon Tea is available on preorder 24 hours in advance – please contact the hotel for more information Please be aware, a purpose built accommodations block houses the bedrooms which is adjacent to the main Lydiard House building. On occasions there may be evening functions held at the property during your stay such as a wedding. Please contact the venue for further information. Early check-in is sometimes available at an extra cost of GBP 20. Late check-out is sometimes available up to 12:00 noon at an extra cost of GBP 20. Please check with the property directly for availability. Please note that although there is no accommodations charge for young children, there will be a breakfast charge. For Lydiard House Hotel & Conference Center could guests please use the Hay Lane, Grange Park entrance to Lydiard Park. The conference center car park will be signposted which is located just past the Church.Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

"Should have been good but was really terrible. Extremely rude staff."

Not very much at all. Except the surrounding park

The bathroom was full of hairs. The menu looked really good but the food was awful. Slow cooked steak was overcooked and as a result dry and tough. We paid £10 each for breakfast. It came literally floating in grease and I couldn’t eat it. The waiter asked how our evening meal was and when I replied disappointing,he was very rude and bit my head off.

"Lovely location small bed"

Lovely location based in a country park with lovely surroundings and walks.

Difficult to understand where to park you can’t park right outside the hotel it’s a short walk. Double bed is a small double so for two adults isn’t particularly comfortable. The doors to the room is bang shut which in the early hours in the morning isn’t great. With the window open in our bedroom due to it being stuffy, we the staff smoking outside the kitchen doors swearing wasn’t great.

The staff.A credit to you.all delivered great customer service.

The room...attention to detail.hsirs on bed.shower dirty,silicone sealant black mould.dust on skirting behind door,carpet badly stained needs vaxing.

The surroundings were pretty.

They were unable to provide dinner for our party and wouldn’t allow us to order in. Staff weren’t helpful in suggesting somewhere to eat or even offer sandwiches! Spoilt the evening. Mattress was too hard, had to sleep on top of the duvet.
