Not a gripe but I missed a modern shower but the hand held shower did the trick

"The stay was a perfect, romantic, beautiful English countryside weekend."

The location and breakfast were absolutely superb. Walking around the immediate fields and public paths that are next to the hotel are beautiful.

The room was on the smaller side but it didn’t matter as we didn’t spend much time in it.

Good breakfast, evening menu and food really good. Friendly atmosphere and great for dogs

Room a little antiquated but comfortable, bed a little small as used to a large king size, this was a small double but definitely satisfactory
