The Inn at Fossebridge

Location, surroundings were beautiful, staff extremely helpful and attentive. The hotel itself is a very stunning old building and very well kept, the bar area was my favourite part of the hotel, full of history and smells of open fire which I personally love.

One small issue I found was I didn’t think the lock for our room was great, just a simple Yale lock and no security chain. Also the door didn’t close tightly so would knock slightly if people were walking through the corridor. Easily fixed.

The location was spot on and the staff were so warm and welcoming! Food was amazing, proper home cooked, locally sourced, even the chips were made from scratch in house! We also got upgraded as I had booked us to go away for his birthday which was such an unexpected treat :)

Someone just needs to go round with a big duster, our only issue was the amount of dust and cobwebs everywhere, in the room, bathroom and in the restaurant area. But a very easy fix!

Feels a little bit tired

Tivemos um excelente atendimento desde o início da reserva. Pessoalmente foi ainda melhor, uma senhora muito receptiva, gentil nis recebeu, nos mostrou tudo e nos atendeu com um jantar maravilhoso. O café da manhã foi especial tambem. Nota máxima, localização, conforto, ambiente, atendimento. Vamos voltar!!

I loved everything about the property. Great views and location. Comfortable modern rooms with lots of charm. Wonderful food.
