The Upper Largo Hotel & Restaurant

Room was very small but well equipped and well presented. Breakfast was excellent as were the fish and chips. Staff were very friendly, cheerful and helpful.

A lounge area in the bar. the bar was an overflow of the restaurant so felt awkward taking up a space just for a drink. Two chairs in the bedroom so that one of us didn't have to sit on bed. Two cans of water in the room the night we arrived. Had to buy it the second night - £5 a bit steep!.

I read the reviews before and everyone said the staff were so lovely but couldn’t quite believe it but it was true, everyone was great if only all hotel staff could be like this! Credit to the owners/managers. Can’t recommend enough.

The rooms are small but we knew that. The bathroom in room 1 could do with a little tlc, just a lick of paint around the door frame (inside).

Comfortable with friendly staff, tasty food and very good value for money.

Our room faced on to a fairly busy road, which was a little noisy from passing traffic during the night, though the views towards the church and Largo Law were brilliant.

Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Food was good quality and excellent value.

The room needs a little TLC particularly the bathroom but it is an old building and that places limitations on any upgrade.

Clean, great staff and tasty food

Room (2) was very small. Not good value for money. Paint flaking and wallpaper peeling off a little in toilet. Food cooked to perfection, but portion size not great, (I had the large fish but I’ve had much bigger for less cost.)

Cleanliness And the food was good

Not so powerful shower, but it was still good value for money

Friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and great food. Second time staying with mum. We will be back. Thanks for another lovely stay.
