The Station Restaurant & Bar

The restaurant was very good and the food Staff very friendly

We went down to the restaurant They had a special on the burgers it said any burger for £18 and a pint so we ordered the station burgers and a pint each. The lad that served us took the order no problem The lady said that is not in the offer jet did say any burger so we ordered something else so a bit confused. I phoned up early in the day to see if they had any rooms for the night and asked how much a room would be she said we have 2 rooms left and I said how much she said £80.00 so left it at that So looked on booking.com and got it for £76.00 Why is cheaper to book on these sites and not directly to the hotel?

Breakfast was good, great coffee. Clearly a local popular spot. Only about 3 trains passed by in the night but I'm a light sleeper, my partner didn't notice. Very nice friendly staff.

Everything was good, slight bit of damp near the corner of the sink in room 5, but looked like it was being maintained.

The pub was very friendly & welcoming. Great location for Wroot Rocks.

The room was well decorated; however, hadn’t been visited by a cleaner for weeks! The bed mattress had obviously seen more action than Actionman on an all action weekend!

Very comfy bed, great clean bathroom, good location for my work, easy access from car park.

They don't do breakfast, only "brunch" from 11.00 which was too late for me.

Nice and comfortable room. A big soft bed with lots of pillows!

The welcome was nice. Efficient staff. Clean modern room. In fact a large room. Ideal for people with walking problems as it was ground level. Even though connected to the pub it was a quiet room. As there for Halloween event it was ideal.

Didn’t dislike anything. Maybe move the large plant pot outside the door to the other side as my partner walked into it when exiting the room.

Clean, comfortable, quiet and friendly. Staff were brilliant. Breakfast sandwiches were superb. Food was delicious. A very nice places, plenty of parking and we would definitely stay again.

Stayed for 1 night while doing mx at a local track , safe parking for a van . Rooms were nice and comfortable for the money . Food in the pub was really nice .

Nothing although I think we may of struggled to park the vans if we had checked in much later
