Beautifully renovated and very homely. Very comfortable beds. All very clean. Limited menu choices but good cooking and a good wine list.

Wunderbare Lage in einem kleinen, bildschönen Ort. Auch die nähere Umgebung die man durch einen Spaziergang erkunden kann ist sehr idyllisch. Das Essen war einfach nur hervorragend! Ganz toll das Strawberry Suffle. Auch Frühstück a la Carte hat uns überzeugt. Hier wird mit Liebe gearbeitet! Die Zimmer waren sehr süß eingerichtet und sauber.

Unser Zimmer lag über der Küche, leider etwas laut bzw. bei offenem Fenster geruchsbelastet. Jedoch bei einer Übernachtung nicht dramatisch.

Wat een parel in Zuid-Engeland dit hotel-pub-restaurant! Heerlijke kamer met mix van van modern comfort, romantische aankleding en oog voor historie. Maar met name het eten is geweldig. Er wordt top gekookt, niet alleen voor diner, ook het ontbijt is echt verrassend en goed. En dan ook nog een fijne wijnkaart! Heerlijke plek. Echte aanrader.

Loved this place. My friend and I got two rooms instead of one room with twin beds. The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely. Highly recommend to stay here.
