Crown and Anchor

Staff were fantastic - friendly, attentive and efficient. Rooms were very well appointed, comfortable and clean. The food was perfectly cooked, well presented and served in comfortable and tastefully decorated surroundings. I am so pleased that I came across the Crown and Anchor and will certainly be back if I am ever in the area again

Food and accommodation was excellent

A very small gripe indeed but Gratuities we're automatically added to my food bill. I would rather offer them up myself for quality of service. That said the food and service were very good.

Great breakfast and a nice room. No air conditioning which in the heat was pretty stifling.

Great little inn, friendly, superb rooms, really quiet except for birdsong!!!

Power cut on second evening

Lovely rooms in a beautiful little village. Great place for an overnight stop.

I thought the accommodation was really good value but the meals at dinner were a bit expensive.

Food was fabulous. Rooms were clean and really well decorated. Really lovely setting and Staff were brilliant

No fault of the Hotel at all but we stayed on the hottest day of the year so far. They did provide us with a fan but it was still very hot it in the room. Air-con would have been fabulous but I understand we don't get that much heat in this Country to warrant the expense so just be prepared to take your own fan as an extra boost if you go in exceptionally hot weather !

Friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful, quiet and peaceful location.
