Well presented Inn. Comfortable room and good restaurant.

Well equipped room with a great bathroom. Bed a was very comfortable and the secondary glazing was very helpful given the room faced the road. A spacious room that was good value for money. The Kestrel is in a good location for those travelling on the A. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately no none told me the water was going to be turned off for some maintenance work., which was a bit of a communication break down. With the very late check out at noon this could have caught someone out if they had slept in. The noise from the work was slightly distracting when I was trying to concentrate and would have caused an issue if I had had any meetings. Would not stop me booking again as I am sure this is the exception.

Friendly staff, clean excellent food

On a main road and difficult to sleep in rooms in front. Luckily moved second night to alternate room. I would not return due to location on the main road

Helpful staff

Squeaky floorboards. Unusual breakfast method. i.e. choose 1 option only i. e. no cereals on display to self choose. No bread on display to toast ourselves.

The hotel staff were so helpful the facilities was brilliant and the breakfast was excellent, xxx

There was nothing to complain about.
