Guy's Thatched Hamlet

I liked the feeling if the whole place . I felt comfortable from checking in . Yes it's not posh or up to some of the standards that I have stayed at ,but I really liked it .we had a evening meal at the restaurant where everything was amazing .The beds were huge and super comfy and the room clean and good value for the money . Had a nice walk down the canal early in the morning then went for breakfast in the restaurant again it was lovely . All staff were very friendly .We will definitely stay again

The unique setting of this quirky little mini village is brilliant. The attention to detail is great and really makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. The pub tavern and restaurant are perfect welcoming, warm and cosy places with little intimate snugs to enjoy a barrista coffe after a lovely canal walk.

The room was lovely, food was nice and it was lovely and quiet

The staff were not very accommodating, and didn't really give much guidance with breakfast or anything

Location, pub restaurant and rooms all on one site, lots of character.

Restaurant service poor , got seated 30 min after table booked and waited another 20 min to place order, my food was very good my wife’s ,lasagna was awful. Rooms very dated, bed uncomfortable

The building location and staff

Unfortunately we have to leave at midnight and drive home . Due to arguing and shouting from the room next door . We handed our keys in and drove home . This was disappointing as it let the stay down massively.
