Hotel-Restaurant Drei Tannen

Quaint hotel in the Rhone valley which is situated in a good place to discover all that mother nature (and the Swiss) have to offer in the area. By car, foot or train. Very friendly owners with a passion for their job. The Hotel is comfortable and cozy with good facilities. The restaurant is superb with many locals frequenting it (which is always a good sign). The little village of Niederwald is like a fairytale village and very quiet. We loved it.

Not much, be aware you have to pay for parking in a parking lot about one minute walking away. Download the international parking app Easypark for no worries. (Parking is cheap luckily, 4 euros for a whole day)

The hotel is situated in a very small, but beautiful town. It's very well connected by train and with there are lots of outdoor activities to do nearby both in summer and winter. We had a room with a shared bathroom in the adjacent building, which was fully renovated recently and it looked great. There was one toilet and a full bathroom with shower to be shared between three rooms, so no problem with finding a free toilet. The hotel is also a restaurant, and we had a great dinner and tried their rösti and the local fondue-style cheese. Everything was delicious. Breakfast was also very good. There is free parking available at the train station, just a couple of minutes away by foot.

Restaurant is overpriced

Located in a small village, it was really great. Room was as expected and we ate at the restaurant, which was amazing. Great food and service! Breakfast was also quite decent!

Great family run Restaurant & Hotel. The food is great, our room was tiny but modern renovated with modern bathroom as well. Everything sparkly clean
