Hotel Islabela Islas Del Rosario

We had an excellent time on the island - absolutely beautiful beach and water, free to use kayak, and the loveliest staff. We really felt immersed in the small community and the sunset walk to the other side of the island is absolutely not to miss!

We had quite a bit of trouble getting to the island, didn’t feel it was super clear that there was a boat provided by the hotel as the communication wasn’t great about this - so we got a private transfer instead. Would also say that the island is VERY small, you will be eating at the hotel every meal etc.

El lugar esta impecable, todo el personal fue muy amable y atentos. Gracias especiales a Cristian que siempre con su buena onda creo actividades. Esta isla es un gran lugar para descansar y recargar, las habitaciones son acogedoras y limpias. Lugar 100% recomendado.

It was impossible for us to reach the hotel by mail or phone. We wanted help to get to the island from Cartagena, but had to find out ourselves. To get off the island was easy to plan, and in a much cheaper way…!

Nothing.

Although nothing on the hotel’s page mentions it, please know that you can only reach the property at 7:30 a.m. and only by paying an extra 290,000 Colombian pesos. You can also return only in the afternoon the same way. They sent me a confusing message in Spanish just one day before arrival. They don’t answer phone calls or messages, and if the call drops, they never call back. Because of this lack of communication, I missed the boat, and then they asked for 450,000 pesos in Spanish and 550,000 pesos in English (!) to bring me to the island. I gave up. I asked for a refund and never received it. Booking’s customer service was also terrible and unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and find another place.

There are no ACs, but that's the consept of the hotel, however good fans provided so it's ok

Απίστευτη τοποθεσία, λίγοι επισκέπτες είναι σαν ένας ιδιωτικός παράδεισος

Οι τιμές είναι λίγο ακριβές αλλά το service σίγουρα το αξίζει. Το κατάλυμα έχει οικολογικό χαρακτήρα οπότε δύο ώρες την μέρα το μεσημέρι δεν έχει ρεύμα. Τα δωμάτια έχουν ανεμιστήρες και όχι a/c. Βέβαια σε ένα κατάλυμα αυτού του είδους με οικολογικό προσανατολισμό αυτά πρέπει κάποιος να τα περιμένει και να μην τον πειράζουν όταν επιλέγει να έρθει εδώ.

L’emplacement était impeccable et en adéquation avec la vie des locaux. On enjoint à faire attention à l’eau, aux dechets etc. Le service était parfait: tout le monde au petit soin.

La salle de bain est très minimaliste. Les pieds sont mouillés quand on va aux toilettes et il y a une petite odeur d’égout tout de même. Après, on est plus sur la plage que dans la chambre :) Peut être aussi indiquer comment arriver par nous même à l’hôtel: via la Bodeguita, à 8h30, environ 150 mille pesos par personne.
