Arco Iris Lodge

Situation géographique géniale, très bon accueil et parfait pour un couple qui désire le calme ! C’est très beau et les animaux sont très choux :D

Un peu dommage pour notre cabanon car nous avons senti quelque peu l’humidité dans la chambre/ salle de bain. Une petite armoire de rangement en + n’aurait pas été de refus :-)

Die Lodge war ok, alles sauber, nur das Bad war sehr klein. Von der Lage her war das Stadtzentrum gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Alles war frisch zubereitet. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

We had a wonderful stay in the lodge. Very nice resort. Given the sometimes cold wheather here we highly enjoyed the very hot shower. Located right in the middle of Santa Elena you have very short walks to restaurants and bars. Nevertheless it is very quiet during the night. Would also highly recommend the night tour into the forest. Can be booked via the reception.

This place lived up to the positive reviews. You feel like you're off in the country but you're within walking distance to everything. The grounds are lush and well-tended, breakfast is awesome, and the staff was super nice and helpful. My cabin, #8, was compact and somewhat spare -- no coffee maker, could have used a few extra electrical outlets -- but I liked the rustic simplicity of it, and especially the view of the "forest" outside the window overlooking the deck; I felt like I was in a treehouse.

Lovely lodge set in a stunning peaceful garden full of beautiful plants and flowers, 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a little seating area so felt like a good space. Lovely seating area outside the lodge (enough for the 4 of us) so we could sit and enjoy the tranquillity. Hammocks dotted around the garden which our girls loved. Great buffet breakfast served in a nice airy room with great views. 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants in the main part of Santa Elena which is a lovely little town. We ate at the Open Kitchen restaurant which we'd definitely recommend. Visited Santa Elena Cloud Forest (lovely and peaceful although no cloud as it was the most beautiful day!), the zipline tour at Selvatura which was lots of fun plus we saw a quetzal whilst waiting for the last line! We also stopped at a beautiful waterfall, a short drive outside the town (it'll be shown on the map the hotel provide you) which was on private land, we paid a small entrance fee to the owner then had a beautiful 10 minute walk to the waterfall where we were able to swim. We were the only people there! It was lovely. So lots to do around Santa Elena and would highly recommend the Arco Iris Lodge to base yourself.
