A peaceful and unique atmosphere, everything is clean, the residents are wonderful, and there are no disturbances or anything of the sort. It's a fantastic experience.

In fact, everything was perfect. There was a misunderstanding about booking a standard or traditional room, but the owner's explanation was acceptable.

La ubicación es increible, las vistas y el lugar son mágicos. La comida en el restaurante buenísima.

Hacía mucho calor dentro de la habitación. Hubo cierto mal entendido la reserva de booking no correspondia (fotos de la habitación) con el tlpo de habitación reservada, a pesar de eso nos facilitaron una noche en la habitación que queríamos, ya que solo estaba disponible 1 noche..

In dieser Unterkunft kann man gar nicht anders, als sich mit den geografischen , historischen, Lebensbedingungen des einzigartigen Ortes auseinander zu setzen. Wie schon von vielen beschrieben ist Marisa eine außergewöhnliche Küchenchefin und Mustafa nicht nur der Mann, der alle Eure Probleme löst, sondern def Mann, der Euch durch seine außergewöhnliche Biografie und seine bis ins Extreme gesteigerte Passion des Kletterns unausgesprochen damit konfrontiert, dass es eher kleinbürgerlich und stink normal ist, hierher zu kommen und mit einem jungen Guide auf den Pico do Fogo zu steigen. Anstrengend für wahr! Bleibt lieber für ein paar Tage und vielleicht versteht ihr dann mehr als nur, dass eure körperliche Verfassung es noch erlaubt, den Vulkan zu bezwingen.

Unbelievable experience- to stay with a view of Pico Fogo right in front of you, day and night. Marisa provides everything you need, our excellent guide up the volcano, transfers from Sao Philipe, pack lunches, lunch, dinner etc. We took a number of meals in town however just to meet the village. Everyone was so friendly, and happy to have us. Our roundelle was perfect for the view but also our private roof terrace with hammocks and sofa.

Nothing but don’t worry about it being cold at night- the lava under the floors is perfect heating. We slept with all windows Open and fan on - despite the altitude.

Excellent location with a splendid view of the volcano. Lunch was delicious and freshly made. The lodges look amazing from the outside; the design is very Instagrammable. Staff were amazing—friendly, approachable, and very helpful.

We stayed in Lodge No. 12, but the hot water was boiling hot and impossible to shower with. The owner offered to move us to another lodge or use another room’s bathroom, which was inconvenient. Payment by card is not possible, only cash.

El emplazamiento es maravilloso y el personal es muy amable y eficiente. Mustafa, el dueño, proporciona toda la información necesaria y puede organizar diversas excursiones y proporcionar transporte a los distintos lugares interesantes de Fogo. Te entran ganas de volver.

En todo momento me encontré bien.
