Attentive and polite staff. From the outside the building looks magnificent- a good mix of an old farmhouse with a modern annex building. 1-star restaurant - good food, all well prepared and presented. Dog-friendly.

Room extremely uncomfortable: 1. No door between bedroom and wc - steam from shower goes into room, no noise insulation. 2. A ‘double bed’ is actually 2 separate mattresses with a hole in between. 3. No coffeemaker or tea kettle. No minibar/fridge. 4. Window between bedroom and shower room- if someone turns lights on in shower it falls directly on the face of the person in the bed.

Superb breakfast, imaginatively presented and excellently cooked. The food generally was magnificent, under the auspices of the chef patron, Mr Rebers. Immaculate air-conditioned room in the contemporary extension. Delightful staff, particularly the charming and welcoming lady who presided over breakfast and dealt with administration. Altogether a resounding 5/5.
