"Food and service top, facilitates flop"

The restaurant (breakfast and dinner) was fantastic. Rich and healthy food. The staff was very friendly.

The pool was a joke - on the booking.com page it shows a pool/swimming symbol (and the favourably taken pictures show the same) whilst in fact it was a 1 on 1 meter water hole. It was even broken when we were there. Don’t be mistaken by the “sauna village” - there is only one sauna.

"Beautiful Hotel in the Bavarian alps!"

Beautiful hotel, the breakfast was wonderful. Lovely staff, great outdoor spa. Amazing view of the alps. Very clean.

A Double mattress rather than two singles would have been nice, the bed was also very squeaky. We could hear a lot of noise from the guests above us. It would have been great if the restaurant was open in the evenings.

The breakfast is fair enough.

I have to write down my experience to remind the guests in the future. When my girlfriend and I arrived in this hotel, we were told that the dinner has been already included in the hole cost and we don‘t need to pay any further for the dinner. However, when we were checking out, the cost is higher than before and the host told us we have to pay for the dinner. To be honest, even if the cost was not high, we still thought we were fooled and needed an explanation about it. But the host was very inpatient and rude, they even said „Stop talking and get out of here!“ Then they refused to admit that they have done something wrong. The cost list without any details about the dinner was the only thing we could get. And then we had to pack up and leave there.

1. Tasty breakfast. 2. Delicious and inexpensive dinner. 3. Good location if you plan to hike Jenner mountain. 4. Nice staff.

1. This is more of a 3 hotel / guesthouse rather than 4 star hotel. 2. Walk-in shower is not the best idea in a small bathroom. 3. Glass bathroom door could be a problem for some people. 4. Mattress was too soft. 5. Please remember that even though the hotel is not far away from Konigsee, it is uphill.

The dinner was good one night but poor the other night. As dinner was included in the price we were a little disappointed.
