Castillo de Monte la Reina Posada Real & Bodega

Beautiful setting, lovely grounds and pool, spacious stylish room with a quirky wet room. The staff were welcoming and the breakfast delicious. There was a good selection of bars and restaurants in nearby Toro. It was a perfect stopover en route to Galicia.

The room was very beautiful, every detail thought through. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet, you can truly rest. Breakfast was delicious, home made and served to you. Beatriz and her colleague were very friendly and helpful. The pool gives it that little extra to cool down on a hot day but also to relax sitting by it. The views from the Castle are spectacular. We would not hesitate to come back.

You are NOT a hotel in the current world. No staff. No restaurant. You are miss-selling your amenities. An honest kitchen does not reflect the clientele you attract on your website. Our room smelled of drains, our bathroom floor was dirty and full of black hairs. We found black hairs in the bed. Just utterly appalling. And we had the most unwelcoming host we have ever encountered. After an eight-hour drive we found we didn’t have a restaurant. And no staff! A complete joke.

Everything just perfect. Elegant room in the most beautiful setting in midst vineyards and green hills. Everything perfectly manicured. A real treat

The radiator in my room was leaking and there was water on the floor. It also made a lot of noise. The girl from the reception cleared the water and swept the floor and there was no more noise. Unfortunately when I came back in the evening there was the same problem and also the noise and in the morning the floor was wet. But that’s really the only thing I can say I disliked

Great fun place built and maintained to a high standard. Comfortable room and bed, and a spacious relaxing area overlooking the vineyard.

My fault that I did not correctly read the description but there is no restaurant on site, necessitating a 15 minute drive to Toro.
