Hotel Harriet

The room was available on a very short notice. I got three beds to choose from. The street side was less noisy than the reviews warn you about.

The beds looked dirty, and there were possible traces of a (former?) bed bug infestation. It seems I might have dodged catching them myself though my ankles were itchy the next week. The bathroom was small and you can’t have a shower without watering the toilet seat too.

I booked the place last minute on arrival to Turku because my employer mocked up my original hotel booking and I had no where to stay that night. I was stuck. So the fact I was able to get a room on such short notice was great.

The place has bed bugs! And the price is ridiculous for a room without a bathroom.

Ignoring costumers, long time waiting for call back

Location

Lack of staff (we saw one staff member during our stay and had to call someone else to get in contact with him), our room was visibly dirty and our beds and walls were damaged. Our bathroom had no lock and the handle was not properly installed. Our bathroom had 1/2 lightbulbs installed (other one was in the sink) and it didnt work until the receptionist was found and managed to change it. Bathroom plumbing made a loud screeching noise seemingly whenever anyone in the building used their faucet and the walls failed to supress any sounds making it hard to sleep.
